Ajax Systems equipped a research laboratory for the Faculty of Electronics at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute

Within the Memorandum of Cooperation between Ajax Systems and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the company renovated the laboratory of the Faculty of Electronics and equipped it with everything necessary for practical lab activities. In total, more than UAH 800,000 has been invested in the project, and UAH 500,000 of which is the cost of equipment.

The students enrolled in the Ajax Systems certification program will now be able to have practical training using modern electronic equipment. Spectrum analyzer, signal generators, multimeters, oscilloscope — these are the same devices R&D engineers use when developing Ajax security systems.

Logic analyzers, RFID (NFC) modules, cameras, displays, and touch keypads will be helpful in laboratory activities. For a research study, there are temperature and humidity sensors, motion detectors, debug boards to work with CCTV cameras, GPS modules, GPRS / LTE modules, soldering equipment, and prototyping boards. All this will help students approach and understand the process of security systems development.

Ajax Systems’ contribution to our university will help rapidly develop the educational process to the level of Europe’s leading technical universities. Dual education system, certification programs, laboratories with modern equipment — training approach that is actively applied in developed countries. I am convinced that our cooperation with Ajax is an excellent example for other Ukrainian companies.Mykhailo Zghurovskyi, Rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute

Earlier Ajax had equipped a research laboratory based on the Faculty of Electronics and had launched a certification program for bachelors and masters who study at the Department of Acoustic and Multimedia Electronic Systems. The company plans to expand its cooperation with Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute by launching the certification program on other essential for Ajax Systems faculties.
